At
this stage of the tour, we can observe various works
associated with the Groupe de recherches d’art
visuel (GRAV), a group of predominantly Argentinean
artists that was created and experienced its heyday
in Paris in the 1960s. Some of its most important premises
included the creative de-mystification of the Romantic
artist, the design of a visual pedagogy style and the
active participation of the spectator in the creation,
transformation and manipulation of artwork. The Denise
René Gallery exhibited GRAV’s work and
pieces by some of its individual members on several
occasions.
